It’s a bit outdated. The authors’ bias bleeds out through the pages at times which is a bit disingenuous from the perspective of critical thinking. I thought that the chapters could have done a better job in regard to reinforcing concepts by way of referencing back to previously read chapters.
I wanted the chapters to elaborate on previously learned concepts by developing geology and environmental concepts instead of what the authors chose to do, which was, “reference chapter X. The chapters provide case studies which seek to help reinforce grology concepts in the chapter; this is helpful.
I wish there was more effort from authors to reinforce comprehensive understandings because there’s a lack of help from the author via end-of-chapter questions.
